The Beaty Biodiversity Museum in Vancouver is a natural history museum focused on the exploration and exhibition of biodiversity. It is located on the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC) and was opened in 2010. The museum houses over two million biological specimens, including plants, animals, fossils, and insects. A highlight of the museum is the 26-meter-long skeleton of a blue whale that hangs in the entrance area. The museum serves not only as an educational facility for the public but also as a research center for scientists and students.
