The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in Vancouver is one of the city´s most famous tourist attractions. The suspension bridge, which spans the Capilano River, was originally built in 1889 by Scottish engineer George Grant Mackay. The bridge is 137 meters long and hangs 70 meters above the river. Over the years, the bridge has been renovated and reinforced several times to meet safety standards and provide visitors with a secure experience. In addition to the suspension bridge, the park offers other attractions such as the Treetops Adventure, where visitors can walk on suspension bridges between the treetops, and the Cliffwalk, a narrow path along the cliff face. The park is not only a place for adventure and thrills but also a place where visitors can learn more about the nature and history of the region.
