Description [EN]
Since its opening in October 2022, the Achilles Foundation Glass Museum has offered contemporary glass art a new home in northern Germany. In the spectacular architectural ambience of the Q21, the listed former Barmbek hospital, you will find the newly created museum´s collection of more than 400 contemporary glass sculptures on approximately 1,000 square meters. Rooms over four meters high and flooded with light provide a worthy setting for the breathtaking works. Regularly changing special exhibitions and vernissages invite you to exchange ideas with artists and engage with their work. Be inspired by the characteristics of this unique art movement during a visit.
