The Palazzo Strozzi in Florence is a magnificent example of Renaissance architecture and a significant cultural center. It was commissioned in the 15th century by the wealthy Strozzi family, who were rivals of the Medici. Construction began in 1489 under the direction of architect Benedetto da Maiano and was later continued by Simone del Pollaiolo, also known as Il Cronaca. The Palazzo is renowned for its harmonious façade, clad in rusticated stones, and its impressive courtyard.
